SELEKT Marketing Associates was founded in 1987 with a single, uncompromising commitment — to supply only genuine, high-quality fastening solutions that industries could depend on. In an era where counterfeit and substandard hardware was widespread, our founder Selvaraj Ramachandran recognized the critical need for a trusted, reliable supply partner.
Starting as a modest trading house in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, SELEKT quickly built a reputation for integrity and product authenticity. Our early years were defined by establishing direct relationships with leading manufacturers and building the trust of local industries one order at a time.

Expanded warehouse operations to meet growing industrial demand across Tamil Nadu. Introduced systematic inventory management to improve order accuracy and delivery timelines.
Extended our product catalogue to include the full range of Sundram Fasteners products — from Socket Head Cap Screws and Set Screws to Sunloc Nuts and Stainless Steel Fasteners for solar applications.
Moved into our purpose-built 9,000 sq ft state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Tiruchirappalli. Multi-tier racking, improved accessibility, and dedicated dispatch zones enabled faster, more reliable fulfilment.
